Dwight Clark played nine seasons for the Niners, collecting 506 career catches for 6,750 yards and 48 touchdowns. He led the NFL in catches in 1982 and was honored by San Francisco after he retired in 1987 by retiring his #87. But his legacy will forever be remembered with one play. With less than a minute left in the 1982 NFC Championship game and with the 49ers down 27-21, Dwight Clark made one of the most infamous catches in NFL history to advance the Niners into the Super Bowl. His leaping grab in the back of the endzone will forever be known as "The Catch." Dwight Clark has hand-signed this full-size San Francisco 49ers logo football. It comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Palm Beach Autographs and a photographic print of Dwight during the actual signing.
